GARAGAAT TERMS & CONDITIONS (Driving School)

1. GENERAL AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all students who enroll in or use our driving school services, including lessons, courses, and other related activities;

Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions upon entering into any transaction with Garagaat.

2. DRIVING LESSONS AND COURSES

Lesson Packages: Garagaat offers a variety of lesson packages, including individual lessons, bundles of lessons, and intensive courses;

Detailed information about available packages and their fees can be obtained from Garagaat website or by inquiring directly in the office;

Duration of Lessons: The duration of each driving lesson is typically 1 week. This maybe extended or shortened upon agreement. But, customer/student must inform in advance Garagaat;

Lesson Availability: Lessons are subject to instructor’s availability. However, Garagaat assures customers/students that it will make every effort to schedule lessons at their convenient times. Availability may be limited during peak hours;

Student Eligibility: Students/Customers who wanted to avail of Garagaat services must be at over 18 years of age and must possess a valid learner’s permit or other applicable license as required by local authorities. Proof of driving eligibility may also be required prior to the first lesson;

3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Booking Lessons: Booking of lessons can be done via Garagaat’s website, phone, or in person at the office. All bookings are subject to instructor’s availability;

Payment Methods: Payments may be made via credit/debit cards, bank transfer or in cash. Payments must be made in full at the time of booking or at the beginning of each lesson;

Payment for Packages: For lesson packages, payment is due upfront unless otherwise agreed upon. In case of a package deal, no refunds will be issued for unused lessons unless otherwise stated in the agreement;

Refund Policy: Refunds for driving lessons or packages will be issued under the following circumstances:

a. Lesson Cancellations by the Driving School: If cancellation is done by Garagaat, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered;

b. Student Cancellations: Refunds for cancellations by students are subject to a cancellation fee; and

c. No Refund for Missed Lessons: If a student/customer missed a lesson without proper notice, no refund is unavailable;

4. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Attendance: Students/customers are responsible for attending all scheduled lessons on time. The duration of the lesson may be shortened in case of late attendance;

Learner's Permit: A valid learner’s permit or driving license as required by local regulations before beginning driving lessons is required;

Health and Fitness to Drive: Every student/customer are presumed to be physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle;

Any medical conditions that may impair one’s ability to drive (vision problems, seizures, etc.) must be disclosed prior to booking lessons. Should there be any, students/customers may be required to sign a waiver relative thereto;

Thus, Garagaat are free from any liability/damages arising from any incident caused by the physical and mental condition of the customers/students;

Behavior: During lessons, customers/students must follow the instructions of the instructor and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Any disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in immediate termination of the lesson without refund;

5. INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Instructor Qualifications: Garagaat assures that all its instructors are fully licensed and trained to teach driving lessons according to local laws and regulations;

Lesson Delivery: Instructors will provide lessons based on the approved curriculum and ensure that all driving techniques are taught in a safe and structured manner;

Vehicle Condition: Garagaat ensures that all vehicles used for lessons are properly maintained and safe for driving.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

Student Cancellations: Cancellation or changes in the schedule of the lesson must be made 24 hours before the agreed schedule. Otherwise, customers/students will be required to pay cancellation fee in the amount of twenty/AED 20;

Instructor Cancellations: Customers/students shall not be liable for any cancellation or change of schedule caused by Garagaat;

No Show: Non-attendance to a scheduled lesson without prior notice will make student/customer liableto be charge for the full lesson fee;

Lesson Rescheduling: Customer/student may reschedule the lesson, subject to availability. If rescheduling occurs within the notice period of 24 hours, no additional charges will apply.

7. CONDUCT DURING LESSONS

Safety: The instructor will prioritize the safety of the student and the safety of others on the road at all times. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in the immediate termination of the lesson;

Use of Mobile Phones: The use of mobile phones or other distractions during the lesson is strictly prohibited;

Vehicle Condition: Student must ensure that the vehicle is clean and free from personal items before the lesson. If the vehicle is found to be in an unsafe or unsuitable condition, the lesson may be canceled, and customer will be charged.

8. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

Liability for Damage: Students are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle during the lesson, provided it is determined that the damage resulted from his/her actions or negligence;

Insurance: The vehicles are fully insured for driving lessons, and student will not be held liable for damages to the vehicle during the lesson, except in cases of negligence or misconduct;

Personal Injury: Garagaat is not responsible for any personal injury that occurs during driving lessons unless caused by the negligence of the instructor or the vehicle;

9. WASTE DISPOSAL

Environmental Disposal: Vendors ensure that all used parts and waste is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, in compliance with local laws and regulations;

Disposal Fee: A small disposal fee may apply to ensure proper recycling of used waste.

10. LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION

Driving Test Preparation: Garagaat will provide instruction aimed at preparing students for driving test. However, passing the driving test is ultimately the student’s responsibility. Garagaat cannot guarantee that its students will pass the test;

Certification: Upon successful completion of a driving course or lessons, a certificate of completion may be issued, which may be required for license testing of the student;

11. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Personal Information: Garagaat collects and processes its buyers/customers personal information, such as the name, contact details, and credit information, in accordance with applicable data protection laws purposely to facilitate the transaction;

Data Protection: Garagaat takes reasonable precautions to protect its customer’s data. It undertakes not to share it with third parties except as necessary to process payment, transfer of ownership, or fulfill the services requested.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE);

Any disputes arising from the transaction will be resolved through the courts of the UAE.

13. CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS

Garagaat reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on its website or communicated directly to customers;

Significant changes to these terms and conditions will be communicated to customers via email or through our website.
