1. GENERAL AGREEMENT
Application of Terms: These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers who purchase, renew, or make a claim under any insurance policy provided by Garagaat Vendors Insurance.
Acceptance: By purchasing an insurance policy, filing a claim, or accepting the terms of any policy, customer/client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. INSURANCE COVERAGE
Types of Coverage: We offer a range of insurance products, including, but not limited to Vehicle insurance (comprehensive, third-party liability, etc.); Garage equipment insurance; Theft, fire, and damage insurance; Liability insurance for businesses; and any other specific insurance products as may be available;
a. Vehicle Insurance may include comprehensive Insurance and Third-Party Liability Insurance;
b. Garage Equipment Insurance may include insurance coverage for repair tools, machinery, and equipment used in garages;
c. Theft, Fire, and Damage Insurance may include insurance for protection against theft, fire, and accidental damage to property or assets;
d. Liability Insurance for Businesses may include insurance coverage for legal claims on damages or injuries caused by the company's operations;
e. Other Specific Insurance Products may include custom insurance policies tailored to unique needs and circumstances;
Coverage Limits: The coverage provided under each insurance policy is subject to the limits and conditions outlined in the specific policy agreement. This includes the insured amount, exclusions, and any deductibles;
Policy Terms: All policies are subject to specific terms and conditions, including duration (policy period), premiums, and the type of coverage selected. These details will be specified in the policy document issued to customer/client upon purchase or renewal;
Claims Process: The claims process and eligibility will be defined in the policy document. Generally, customer/client must report any claim to Garagaat Vendors within 30 days of the occurrence of the event causing damage or loss.
3. PREMIUM AND PAYMENT
Premium Payment: The premium for each policy must be paid in full at the time of purchase or as per the payment schedule agreed upon at the time of policy issuance;
Payment Methods: Payment may be made through the following payment methods: credit card, bank transfer, pay by link or any other mode allowed by Garagaat Vendors upon confirmation of the order.
Failure to Pay: If premiums are not paid on time, the insurance policy may be suspended or canceled. Garagaat reserves the right to charge a late fee for overdue payments as outlined in the policy agreement;
Refunds: If customer/client chooses to cancel the policy before the end of the term, a refund may be claimed, subject to the cancellation policy, and provided no claims have been made during the policy period. Refunds will be calculated on a prorated basis and may be subject to an administrative fee.
4. EXCLUSIONS
General Exclusions: The following events are generally excluded from coverage unless explicitly included in your policy:
a. Damage caused by willful misconduct, fraud, or criminal activity;
b. Wear and tear, aging, or gradual deterioration of the insured item;
c. Damage caused by lack of maintenance or improper use of the insured vehicle or equipment; and
d. Damage resulting from illegal activities or non-compliance with local laws;
Specific Exclusions: Each insurance policy may have its own set of exclusions. It is essential to review the specific policy document for details on what is and isn't covered.
5. CLAIMS PROCESS
Filing a Claim: To file a claim, customer/client must notify Garagaat Vendors Insurance within the time frame specified in the policy. Claims can be made in-person;
Required Documentation: When filing a claim, customer/client may be required to submit supporting documents, such as: a completed claim form; photos of the damage or loss; police reports (if applicable); and proof of ownership or value of the damaged property
Claim Investigation: Garagaat Vendors Insurance will investigate the claim, and customer/client may be required to provide additional information or cooperate with the investigation. The outcome of the claim will be based on the terms outlined in the policy, the cause of the loss, and supporting evidence.
Claim Settlement: If the claim is approved, Garagaat Vendors Insurance will provide compensation based on the terms of the policy. Any compensation will be subject to the deductible and coverage limits as based on the policy. In case of a partial claim, only the proportion of the loss covered by the policy will be paid out;
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Accuracy of Information: Customer/client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the application process. Any misrepresentation, omission, or falsification of information may result in denial of coverage or cancellation of the policy;
Maintenance and Safeguarding: Customer/client must take reasonable steps to maintain and safeguard the insured property, whether it's a vehicle, garage equipment, or any other insured item. This includes performing regular maintenance, securing the insured items, and taking precautions to avoid damage or theft;
Cooperation: Customer/client agrees to cooperate with Garagaat Vendors Insurance in the investigation of any claims, and provide any requested documents or access to the damaged or stolen property for evaluation.
7. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION
Policy Cancellation by a Customer/client: Customer/client may cancel the policy at any time by providing written notice to Garagaat Vendors Insurance. Cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees and a refund, if applicable, will be processed as per the terms outlined in the policy;
Policy Cancellation by Garagaat Vendors Insurance: Garagaat Vendors Insurance may cancel the policy if under the following circumstances: failure to pay the premiums on time; false or misleading information provided by customer/client; and breach of the terms and conditions of the policy by customer/client;
Refund on Cancellation: If the policy is canceled by customer/client before the end of the policy term, any refund due will be calculated according to the unused portion of the premium, less any applicable fees or claims. If a claim is made during the policy period, customer/client may not be entitled to a refund.
8. LIABILITY AND ITS LIMITATION
Garagaat Vendors Insurance will provide coverage as specified in the policy and will not be liable for any damages, losses, or costs that exceed the limits of coverage;
Garagaat Vendors Insurance is not responsible for any third-party claims unless such claims are covered under the insurance policy;
Garagaat Vendors Insurance will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the loss or damage to insured property.
9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Personal Information: Garagaat Vendors Insurance collects personal information such as the name, email address, shipping address, and payment details of the customer/client to process the order and communicate regarding the transaction;
Data Protection: Garagaat Vendors Insurance shall take all reasonable measures to protect the personal data of its customer/client and ensure that it is used only for order processing and communication purposes.
Third-Party Disclosure: Garagaat Vendors Insurance do not sell or rent the personal information of its customer/client to third parties. However, it may share information with third-party service providers to payment processors, shipping carriers to fulfill orders.
Taxes and Duties: Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, or import fees related to their purchase;
10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to resolve the issue amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
11. CHANGES/MODIFICATIONS
Modification of Terms: Garagaat Vendors Insurance reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on its website and will become effective immediately thereafter.
Notification: Significant changes to the terms may be communicated to customers via email or through Garagaat Vendors' website.
