GARAGAAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

E-CAR SERVICES

1. GENERAL AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all electric vehicle services, including but not limited to, battery charging, diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and installation of charging infrastructure; Customers acknowledged having read and understood these Terms and Conditions by entering into any transaction with Garagaat.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

Battery Services:

1. EV Battery Diagnostics – Testing battery health, range, and efficiency.

2. Battery Maintenance – Optimization of battery performance and lifespan.

3. Battery Replacement – Replacing old or malfunctioning batteries with certified, high-quality replacements.

4. Battery Management System (BMS) Service and Re-calibration – Ensuring proper system calibration for optimal battery function.

Charging Services:

1. Charging Station Installation – Installing home and business charging stations.

2. Charging Station Maintenance and Repairs – Maintaining and repairing charging equipment.

3. Mobile Charging Solutions – Offering mobile charging services where available.

4. Charging Infrastructure Upgrades – Enhancing systems for faster charging capabilities.

5. Smart Charging Solutions – Implementing solutions for optimized energy consumption.

Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs:

1. Full Diagnostics – Testing electric vehicle systems like motors, inverters, controllers, and battery systems.

2. Troubleshooting – Identifying and fixing charging, performance, or system malfunctions.

3. Repairs and Replacements – Fixing or replacing EV components like motors, controllers, and chargers.

4. Software Updates and Re-calibration – Updating and re-calibrating vehicle management systems.

EV Maintenance Services:

1. Tire Rotations, Brake Checks, and Fluid Level Checks – Regular maintenance of key components.

2. Alignment and Suspension Checks – Ensuring proper vehicle handling and safety.

3. General Preventive Maintenance – Following manufacturer’s recommendations for ongoing vehicle care.

3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Booking Process: Appointment shall be booked via Garagaat’s website, mobile application or personally at the office. Accurate details about the electric vehicle, including make, model, year, and specific issues or services are required for booking process.

Booking Confirmation: The scheduled service details, including date, time, and services to be provided are confirmed immediately after the appointment is booked.

Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment may be made via credit card, bank transfer, pay by link or in cash at the office.

Pricing: Service fees will be confirmed at the time of booking based on the services required. Fees may vary depending on the vehicle type, service complexity, or additional parts and materials required.

Taxes and Fees: All services are subject to applicable taxes and service fees. It shall be paid upon confirmation of the booking appointment.

4. SERVICE DELIVERY

Service Location: Services are available at Garagaat’s service center. In some cases, Garagaat offers mobile services for diagnostics, minor repairs, or charging station installations at customer’s location, depending on availability.

Service Duration: Service duration may vary based on the complexity of the work and vehicle type. Battery replacements or charging station installations may take several hours. Service duration may be confirmed during the booking process.

Customer Responsibilities: Customers must ensure that the vehicle is accessible and ready for service. An advance notice is required should there is difficulty to access the vehicle requiring services or it requires specific handling (e.g., low/high-clearance).

Electric Vehicle Compatibility: Customer must ensure that the services requested are compatible with the specific electric vehicle model. Garagaat’s technician will confirm compatibility during the booking process.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of services is allowed. However, it shall be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled service. Otherwise, cancellation fee shall apply.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel or fail to show up within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of AED 30 may apply.

Rescheduling: Change in the schedule of service is allowed. However, it shall be made before the date of the scheduled service and is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply if the change of the schedule of services is caused by the urgent need of part’s replacement part or expedited service.

6. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

Service Warranty: Garagaat offers a warranty on the electric vehicle services specifically on issues arising from faulty workmanship.

Warranty on Parts: Parts replaced, such as batteries, charging components, and other vehicle parts, are typically covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms for specific parts vary depending on the manufacturer and component type.

Liability Limitation: Garagaat’s liability for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of its electric vehicle services is limited to the total amount paid for the service. However, Garagaat is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.

Indemnity: Customers agree to indemnify and hold Garagaat vendors harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use of the services, including any issues related to electric vehicle, charging stations, or vehicle components.

7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurate Information: Accurate details about the vehicle and its current condition should be provided to ensure delivery of appropriate services.

Proper Use of Electric Vehicle: Customers are responsible for the proper use and maintenance of the electric vehicle. Manufacturer’s instructions for charging, battery maintenance, and general vehicle care should be followed.

Inspection and Authorization: Customers are required to inspect the vehicle and ensure that all necessary repairs or maintenance are agreed upon before the required services are carried upon. Any work or service that exceeds the initial scope or estimate should be agreed upon.

8. CHARGING STATION AND INSTALLATION USE

Installation Services: Garagaat provides installation services for home and business charging stations, subject to the availability of appropriate electrical infrastructure.

Electricity Requirements: The installation of a charging station may require a suitable power supply. Customers may need to upgrade the electrical panel or wiring to support the charging station. Any additional work needed will incur extra charges.

Responsibility for Charging Station: Customers are responsible for the maintenance and safety of the charging station. If issues arise after installation, customers are required to contact Garagaat for the maintenance or repair service schedule.

9. WASTE DISPOSAL

Environmental Disposal: Vendors ensure that all used parts and waste are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Disposal Fee: A small disposal fee may apply to ensure proper recycling of used waste.

10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Personal Information: Garagaat collects and processes personal information, including customer’s name, contact details, vehicle information, and payment details.

Data Protection: Garagaat takes appropriate steps to safeguard customer’s personal information and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to process payments or fulfill the services requested.

Marketing Communications: Customers agreed to receive communications related to the bookings and promotional offers.

Taxes and Duties: Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, or import fees related to their purchase.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through the courts of the UAE.

12. MODIFICATIONS

Modification of Terms: Garagaat reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on its website or communicated directly to customers.

Notification of Changes: Significant changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated to customers via email or through our website.
